Agriturismo near Herculaneum
One of the major highlights of Herculaneum (Ercolano), periodically closed for restoration purposes, is the so-called Villa dei Papiri (Villa of the Papyri), characterized by a complex architecture and by a number of art pieces that are now partially exposed in the Naples National Archaeological Museum. Herculaneum can be reached by car from the farmhouse Agriturismo La Morella in about one hour (see Google map information). For the guests logging in the rooms and apartments of our farm stay, the visit to Herculaneum can be combined, within the same day, to a hike to the top of Mount Vesuvius. We selected for our guests this website to get further information before visiting Herculaneum.
